Project pitches and sponsors presentation at CECIIS 2023

The presentation was held on Thursday, 21.09.2023., within the CECIIS 2023 conference, which is held at the University of Dubrovnik from 20 to 22 September 2023, and is organized by the Faculty of Organization and Informatics, University of Zagreb (FOI). The presentation of projects - "Project pitches" is part of the "Project Oasis" activity – a space where all conference participants had the opportunity to disseminate their projects through presentations, posters, leaflets and other promo materials. The aim of presenting projects through these activities is networking of international institutions and encouraging discussion on current and future project ideas and collaborations. 

The event began with a presentation by Friederika Kleinfercher from the international consortium of research infrastructure Bloxberg, which is based on blockchain technology, and of which FOI is a co-founder and member.

• Graph Massivizer, Innovative educational technologies for the health and environment - TECHyE,

Upon completion of the presentations of the projects, the gathered participants voted via an online form for the best "Project pitch", which will be announced at the closing of the conference on Friday, 22.09.2023. The award for the best pitch was given to Lucija Gosak from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Maribor on the topic "Innovative educational technologies for the health and environment – TECHyE“.

The gathered participants also had the opportunity to hear the presentation of Darko Jureković, Oracle Academy Program Manager, who emphasized the importance of strategic use of technology to improve educational institutions and provide a better experience to students and employees in the higher education sector. The presentation of the sponsors ended with a word from the founder of Infodom Prof. Slavko Vidović, Ph.D. and Member of the Management Board of Infodom, Goran Marković, who held a presentation on joint efforts between university researchers and business experts, emphasizing their contribution to the development of complex digital platforms.
