The 24-month project started on March 1, 2021, and is funded under the Erasmus + program of the European Commission in the total amount of 219,085 euros.
The goal of this important project is to develop, implement and share innovative pedagogies, including evaluation and assessment, and to use learning analytics to support students and teachers as harmonized processes for relevant and inclusive digital education to successfully address and support COVID-19 and similar crises, also to support purposeful digital transformation of higher education institutions.
The project partners are eminent European universities: Open University from Great Britain, Delft University of Technology from the Netherlands, Goethe University from Germany, University of Rijeka and the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Organization and Informatics of the University of Zagreb.
During the project, the partners will work on four main results and develop a number of innovative ways of learning and teaching, hold workshops, multiplier events, develop an e-course on an open platform that will be transformed into MOOC (Massive open online course), educational open resources and an e-subject for flipped classroom and work based learning, which will be coordinated by experts from the Open University of London.
Project manager prof. dr. sc. Blaženka Divjak pointed out that the topic of this project is necessary for all wise universities and has a great impact on higher education institutions in the circumstances of the pandemic, but also in the post-pandemic period.
Dean of the Faculty of Organization and Informatics, prof. dr. sc. Nina Begičević Ređep congratulated the project consortium on the valuable initiative and emphasized the support of the present members of partner universities, the importance and value of the project in the new transformation age of higher education institutions and wished great success in achieving results, sustainability and visibility of the project in the challenging months to come.
