On Monday 16th and Tuesday 17th May 2022. project partner meeting was held for Erasmus+ project BEE with APEX Better Employability for Everyone with APEX
This was the first time that project partners had meeting in-person after COVID-19 measures. Faculty of organization and informatics had honour to organize this two-day event.
During the meeting project partners were discussing about activities and tasks regarding project. During Monday, project management activities, quality assurance and project sustainability were discussed. In the second part main theme was advanced bachelor’s level extra-curricular on low-code application and database development and short course on low-code programming with APEX. Last part of the day was the discussion on short vs advanced course.
The term low-code refers to one of the approaches to software development that requires little or no writing of program code to develop applications or programs. This approach uses simple logic and drag-and-drop features without the use and knowledge of advanced programming languages. Low-code tools are intuitive and allow users without formal knowledge of programming and programming languages to develop mobile and business applications. Such tools are becoming more and more popular and the need and possibility to create courses and extracurricular programs for students was seen.
Second day of the meeting had started with overview and hand-on BEEAPEX development tools ad Apex, JDeveloper, SQL data modeler, Latex, etc. Following on that project partners were discussing on caste studies generated from the business sector and on webinars and academic articles.
Project team of Faculty of information and informatics is in charge of development of short course on low-code in APEX and developing 122 case studies generated on the business sector.
