HELA poster at Srce DEI 2023 conference

Srce DEI 2023 conference was held from 28 to 30 March 2023, in the premises of Mozaik Event Center and University Computing Centre. This year, the conference was organized as the final conference of the project Croatian Scientific and Educational Cloud, which includes the commissioning of the national e-infrastructure HR-ZOO and the presentation of the strongest supercomputer in Croatia.

HELA project leader, Prof. Nina Begičević Ređep, Ph.D., participated in the section dedicated to research poster presentations, where she presented a poster with results which were achieved during the first two years of HELA project implementation. The poster includes discovered topics in research papers on learning analytics support in self-regulated learning, identified communities of practice in learning analytics, a mind map of the metadata use cases for learning analytics, and ethical aspects of learning analytics. The poster was prepared by HELA project co-leader Prof. Diana Šimić, Ph.D. and research group member Petra Vondra.

The four-year research project IP-2020-02-5071 HELA, which started on March 1, 2021, is funded by the Croatian Science Foundation, with a budget of € 103,023.00. The main purpose of the project is to contribute to a better understanding and optimization of the learning and teaching process supported by learning analytics (LA) through improving higher-educational institution (HEI) maturity to implement LA. Within the project, a maturity framework for implementing learning analytics in a hybrid learning environment will be developed.
