The meeting was opened by the director of Softcon d.o.o. Damir Vlašić, who in the introductory part gave a brief overview of the project's progress so far and the importance of regular coordination of all involved partners. The project implementation schedule, financial monitoring overview and procedures related to requests for reimbursement of funds were presented. Possible risks in the implementation were also discussed, as well as the planned results and deliverables of the project and the next steps. A special part of the meeting was dedicated to current and planned research and development activities.
Representatives of Softcon, the Faculty of Organization and Informatics (FOI) and the partner Info3 presented an overview of their activities and participated in a discussion on further steps. The completed and planned activities for the promotion and visibility of the project were also presented and the horizontal principles applied during implementation were discussed.
The meeting also included coordination related to the start of the development of the Feasibility Study, one of the key project results, the preparation of which is of exceptional importance for assessing the technical, organizational and market sustainability of the developed solutions. Special emphasis was placed on the role of the Study in the efficient transfer of technology and knowledge from the academic community to practical application in the business environment.
The coordination meeting confirmed the good cooperation of the project partners and the compliance of all activities with the planned implementation dynamics.

The objective of the Project "Automation of Business Processes Powered by Artificial Intelligence" is to develop innovative solutions "DOCUMAN Capture" and an independent software library for posting incoming invoices and bank statements using advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies, which will enable private and public entities to automate the accounting and document management processes.
Through cooperation between the academic and business communities and public law bodies, the Project will contribute to solving the social challenges of the Northern Croatia region and enable the development of new digital products and services with high added value for the purpose of business diversification and economic transformation.
The beneficiary is Softcon d.o.o., and the partners are Info3 d.o.o., Itelius d.o.o., Control Plus d.o.o. and the University of Zagreb Faculty of Organization and Informatics

Total eligible costs: €1,605,188.78
EU co-financing of the project: €1,233,209.43
The project implementation period is from May 1, 2025 to April 30, 2028, or 36 months.
