Activities on the Edu4Games project
The project "Edu4Games - Creation of standards of professions and qualifications as well as new study programs for the area of design and development of video games" has entered its final third of implementation and in recent months intensive activities are underway to achieve project objectives.

The project is funded by the European Social Fund (ESF), within the "Modernising high education quality through Implementation of CROQF " programme. The Faculty of Organization and Informatics is one of the partners in the project that is coordinated by the Academy of Dramatic Arts (ADU) of the University of Zagreb.

Project members teamed up to prepare the first public university course of video game design and development. The course for graduate students will be intended for all undergraduate students, regardless of whether they come from the field of economics, philosophy, art, technical or any other faculties and academies. The course will be based on the newly defined standards of occupations and qualifications that will be included in the Croatian Qualifications Framework.

In order to prepare for the implementation of the new course and lifelong learning program, teachers from five components of the University of Zagreb and experts from the video game industry in the fall will begin piloting the 4 new lifelong learning programs - Video Game Designer, Video Game Developer, Video Game Producer and Visual Video Game Artist.

You can find more about applications for enrollment in piloting of the lifelong learning program 'Video Game Design and Development' starting on September 6, 2021 on the following website and highlighted news on the FOI website.

You can find more about the future course and the lifelong learning program on the official website of the Edu4Games project: edu4games.adu.hr
