We invite you to join us at FOI International Days 2021, which will be held at the Faculty of Organization and Informatics on May 20 and 21, 2021.

The FOI International Days 2021, which will be held virtually this year, are organized by the FOI International Cooperation Office. This two-day event offers an interesting program for teaching and non-teaching staff and students.

The first and main day of the event, May 20, 2021, will begin with a presentation by the representative of the European Commission Matija Matoković on "How to be part of the green and digital transition - our opportunities in the EU." After the presentation, a panel discussion entitled "Rethinking higher education for new EU programs" will be held, moderated by Assoc. dr. sc. Igor Balaban, Vice Dean for Science, Projects and International Cooperation at FOI.

In the second part of the day, four FOI partner universities will be presented: Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) from Germany, Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) from Lithuania, Mendel University in Brno (MENDELU) from the Czech Republic and The Open University (OU) from the United Kingdom.

The afternoon part is reserved for scientific research networking and exchange of ideas through virtual rooms called "Research. Innovation. Networking - Growing through sharing ideas", which will take place from 13:30 to 14:30 (CET). Representatives of laboratories and centers from FOI, as well as external participants, will be able to choose to join the discussion on one of 5 topics in order to present their own research, networking and future collaborations:

  •       ICT in Education
  •       Internet of Things
  •       Digital Transformation
  •       Entrepreneurship and Innovation
  •       Data Analytics
