Overview of HELA project activities

HELA_Infografika_Objectives
Researchers and external associates on the HELA project are working intensively to achieve the objectives and results of the first project phase ending in February this year (02/22).

The FOI research group meets regularly for virtual meetings and coordinates project activities with significant input from external associates who come from respected European institutions: Goethe (Germany), Ku Leuven (Belgium), The Open University (United Kingdom) and the University Computing Center of the University of Zagreb (Croatia).

It is worth noting that in the first 12 months of implementation, 6 conference papers were published and presented at the MIPRO, ICERI and CECIIS conferences, and a paper for publication in the JIOS journal was accepted. Abstracts of published papers are available on the official website of the project under the category "RESEARCH PAPERS".

These results are key to achieving the first two project objectives: O1. Identify use cases and gaps in use of learning analytics (LA) in a blended educational environment in higher education at the level of institutional policy, study programs, courses and lectures and O2. Identify resources necessary to implement LA in a blended educational environment at levels of institutional policy, study program and course.

If you want to learn more about the purpose, activities and results of the project, we invite you to check out the HELA project booklet, which was published within the first project period.

It is important to mention that part of the research group is already working intensively on planning the activities related to the second project phase starting in March this year, with a duration of 18 months (03/22-08/23). More information on this coming soon!
