The event was held on April 8, 2022 at the Faculty of Organization and Informatics in Varaždin. The event was attended by over 100 participants – students and teachers from secondary schools, staff of the Varaždin kindergarten and secondary schools, Varaždin County, agencies, centers, and other educational institutions.
After the greeting of the Faculty of Organization and Informatics, dean, Prof. Nina Begičević Ređep, Ph.D., presentation of activities and results of the project was held by project team members Prof. Valentina Kirinić, Ph.D., Prof. Dragutin Kermek, Ph.D., Asst. Prof. Matija Novak, Ph.D. and Antonela Čižmešija, M. Inf. Followed the lectures given by two invited lecturers: Žarko Čižmar, CEO of Telecenter, and Prof. Marjan Krašna, Ph.D. from the Faculty of Arts, University of Maribor.
In addition to promoting digital literacy in universities and wider, the aim of this event was to collect ideas on possible ways of promoting and applying project results in society and all education related institutions, public administration and institutions engaged in lifelong education.
The project started in September 2019 with the aim of raising the level of digital literacy of students involved in tertiary education. The project coordinator is Dokuz Eylül University (TURKEY), and the partners are Fundacion Unıversitaria San Antonio (SPAIN), the University of Coventry (UNITED KINGDOM) and the Faculty of Organization and Informatics, University of Zagreb (CROATIA).
