Final conference of the IC4HEDS project

IC4HEDS
The final conference of the IC4HEDS project - "Intensive courses for Higher Education Students", will take place on Thursday, 17th March 2022. at 10:00 at Technology and Innovation Centre Međimurje Ltd., 22B Bana Josipa Jelačića, Čakovec.

The project is being co-financed in the scope of Interreg V-A Hungary-Croatia Co-operation Programme 2014-2020. Its primary results are two blended learning courses – Faculty of Organisation and Informatics, University of Zagreb developed a course about digital transformation while the University of Pannonia in Nagykanizsa developed a course about industry 4.0. Fifty students from both sides of the border completed the courses. Apart from the courses, Technology Innovation Centre Međimurje Ltd. acting as a lead partner and Business incubator from Nagykanizsa organized numerous workshops led by successful individuals. In that way they provided students with an insight and an idea of what to expect once they start searching for a position. Both students and project partners developed strong cross-border bonds by attending study trips. These connections will surely contribute towards future cooperation in the area.

  • 10:25 Presenting the IC4HEDS project results: Ivan Plačko, director of Technology Innovation Centre Međimurje LTD,
  • 10:45 Full prof. Vjeran Strahonja, Ph.D. from the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Organization and Informatics (FOI) will present the Intensive Course about digital transformation
  • 10:55 Assoc. prof. Szilárd Jaskó, Ph.D. from the University of Pannonia in Nagykanizsa (UP) will present the Intensive Course about industry 4.0
  • 11:05 Students share their experience from participating in the project: Patricija Ivanić from University of Zagreb, Faculty of Organization and Informatics (FOI) and Martin Bertok from the University of Pannonia in Nagykanizsa
  • 11:20 Closing remarks

Registration is possible by 15 March 2022, 4 p.m. at latest, on: konferencija@ticm.hr, with subject IC4HEDS FINAL CONFERENCE INVITATION.

Project is financed by Interreg Programme cross-border cooperation Interreg V-a Hungary Croatia, Cross-border region, where rivers connect not divide. 

The total budget of the project is 180.029,95 EUR, and its duration is from 1st August 2020. until 30th. March 2022.
