The Erasmus+ project BEE with APEX supported the digital transformation of higher education institutions by developing the digital readiness, resilience and capacity of teachers and students. The project's activities led to the modernization of the IT curriculum and courses in the areas of front and back-end design of applications and databases. The project started with activities at the beginning of 2022 and officially ended on January 31, 2022.

The lead partner was the University of Maribor, Faculty of organizational sciences from Slovenia, and the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Organization and Informatics, University of Žilina from Slovakia, Johannes Kepler University from Austria, International Hellenic University from Greece and Kozminski University from of Poland.
The project team of partners University of Zagreb, Faculty of Organization and Informatics was led by prof. Vjeran Strahonja, Ph.D., while the team members were associate professor Dijana Oreški, Ph.D., associate professor Darko Andročec,Ph.D., Larisa Hrustek, M.Econ., Ana Kutnjak, M.Econ. and Karlo Nadoveza, M.Econ.
The total value of the project was 268,362.00 euros, of which the FOI share was 39,678.00 euros, and it was financed through the Erasmus+ program, KA220-HED – Cooperation partnership in higher education.
